The Bakaj Vineyards at Crescent-Renmark lie in one of the most “fertile soils” along our river Murray.
This fertile black clay and very dry climatic conditions have produced fruit of great quality and intensity.
It is here from the Shiraz Vineyard that One Lonely Barrel has chosen to make our second Shiraz to our Multi Medal Winning One Barrel Barossa Shiraz.
The Crescent is a bold, full bodied, fruit driven Shiraz.
Deep red in colour with an intense purple hue.
The nose has hints of white pepper, cloves and blackcurrant aromas.
The palate is layered with dark fruits and berries.
Well balanced with lightly integrated French oak, allowing the fruit and flavours to dominate!
