Kaesler Stonehorse GSM 2017
The Stonehorse wines are full of character like the teams of Clydesdale horses that used to work the heavy clay soil at the Kaesler vineyard, long before tractors were invented.
This wine reflects this history well, with Grenache and Mourvedre sourced from plantings originating from the 1930’s and Shiraz planted 1985.
Eyes: Garnet
Nose: Blue and black fruits of blueberries and blackcurrant, fresh violet florals on the nose
Mouth: Savoury notes and pepper spice, fresh rhubarb and fleshy fruit characters. Fine tannins and balanced acidity; length on the palate
