AROMA
The wine is aromatic, with lifted fruits of the forest notes.
Berries and brambly, savoury woody herb and floral notes and background oak spice.
PALATE
The palate shows vibrancy and concentration of dark berry fruit, with added oak spice complexity and is full bodied with smooth and fine lingering tannins.
VINEYARD
The Brave Shiraz is grown on a vineyard site with red clay sitting atop a limestone base with an elevated topography providing fruit with excellent density and complexity.
MATURATION
The wine was fermented on skins for 10 days and pressed at dryness before being transferred to barrel for a maturation of 22 months.
The barrels used were 90% French and 10% American adding further complexity to the wine.
