TASTING NOTES:
Colour: Brilliant pale green.
Aroma: Suggestions of lime, lemon and fresh cut apple. Maybe some subtle bath powder aromas too. Spotlessly clean, it displays the clarity and purity of Clare Valley Riesling from a high-quality vintage.
Palate: Fresh, bright and delicate, the citrus fruit provides up front flavor while the mouth filling acidity kicks in at the end and sees the wine finish clean dry and refreshing.
Summary: This is the 34th release of our most important wine. The “Trad” is always a lovely drink on release, but 5 -7 years in the cellar will amply reward those who like their Rieslings with some bottle development. Drink with any seafood really, but it’s pairing with fresh shucked SA oysters is hard to top.
