Colour: Clear with green hues.
Aroma: Lifted nose with citrus, guava and sea spray notes.
Palate: Crisp and dry, it has flavours of citrus fruit, bay leaves, and guava.
The wine has refreshing acidity and finishes crisp and dry.
Food Pairing: Salt and pepper prawns with a mango and papaya salad.
Winemaking Notes:
Grapes were harvested in the cool of the evening.
They were gently pressed off skins prior to fermentation in stainless steel tanks.
This allows the freshness and vibrancy of the fruit to shine through.
We aim to capture the natural flavours of the variety and do so by handling the wine gently throughout the wine making process.
Ageing Potential: Drink now to 2024.
Region: Sourced from a single vineyard in Willunga. Vermentino is well suited to our Mediterranean climate, producing lovely aromatic and vibrant fruit.
