Mike Press Rosé 2020
Mike and Judy fell in love with the Rosé wines of Provence and wanted to make a similar one from their single vineyard high in the Adelaide Hills.
This is not a sweet pink drink, but a serious wine predominantly made from Pinot Noir and some Sauvignon Blanc, resulting in a wine of intense flavour and a long dry finish.
The wine has the wonderful “eye of the partridge colour” of true Rosé.
Fresh complex fruit which is shows a lingering and well balance mouth feel, but well balanced with a dry finish.
The wine shows great body and structure.
Cherry and strawberry fruit with a savoury, crisp dry finish on the palate.
