Chalk Hill Clarendon Syrah 2016
Almost impossible not to admire this. It has grunt and weight but nuance and savour-spice are also well and truly in the frame. The syrah tag is apt. Redcurrant and blackberry flavours are equally well represented, the nuance coming via wood smoke, earth, clove and nougat flavours. It will mature handsomely.
