A wine of vibrancy and complexity. Brightly perfumed with spicy red quince and dark cherry flavours. Full flavoured and mouth filling. 

 

Vineyard Information: 

Situated on Olivers Road at an altitude of 93 mtrs above sea level, the vines are 75 years old. The four acres of Grenache were hand harvested from this single vineyard. 

 

Winemaking Notes: 

Hand-picked destemmed only, with 30% whole bunch and cold soaked at 8ºC for five days before being allowed to warm naturally for fermentation. A long slow fermentation with 18 days on skins before being pressed off to all oak barrels, 10% new French. Matured for 12 months on lees before being racked to blend and bottled without finings and minimal filtration. 

Alcohol: 14.5%
