Gisa ARC Barossa Shiraz 2016
This Barossa Valley Shiraz is a rich full flavoured wine and shows good intensity & power with generous, ripe fruit filled flavours, of plum, black currant & liquorice.
GISA ARC Barossa Shiraz was made from fruit off the Rohrlach vineyards near Williamstown in the Barossa Valley.
The fruit was crushed, de-stemmed, gently pressed, then transferred to temperature controlled stainless steel tank where the wine underwent a controlled fermentation reaching a maximum of 26 degrees.
2016 was a good vintage, and the wine will benefits from a little air immediately after opening.
There is a hint of vanilla bean derived from a measure addition of older American Oak with the balance in older French oak 50/50.
True to its roots, it is a ripe, rich, full flavoured Barossa Shiraz.
