Still I rise is a celebration of tenacity and this juicy shiraz shoots for the moon.
Hand-picked from two neighbouring, bio-dynamically operated Mclaren vale vineyards, it is matured for 15 months in french and american oak, with 30% new american oak.
This shiraz is big in fruit, but balanced by soft tannin & acid, giving the wine a very smooth and lengthy finish.
The complex structure reveals deep cherry and spice characteristics followed by decadent dark chocolate.
Bottled without finning or filtration.

The Willunga vineyard is a picturesque and fertile area between the Sellicks Hill Range and the Southern Ocean.
Dr. John’s Willunga Shiraz displays warm summer berry fruits of blueberry and blackberries.
The palate is luscious and balanced with spice, dark chocolate and vanilla bean.
